担当のマシリト・・・鳥嶋さんが（※16）・・・。

ドクター・マシリトのモデルですね（笑）。

担当編集者として、本業のマンガに刺激を与えようという
意図があったんですか？

そうなんです。
それで「やったら？」みたいな感じで
気楽に言ったらしいんですね。
そこで、鳥山さんに絵を頼むことになったんですけど
最初に上がってきたのがドット絵だったんです。
